I am sad to announce that we feel short of the 1000 valid signatures I needed to qualify for the November ballot and weren’t chosen to replace either of the candidates that withdrew from the race. Because of this, our campaign has come to an end – For Now.
The campaign team will take some time to rest and reflect, then come back to plan the next move. However, this is not the end of the road. I will continue speaking up and speaking out for the people of Columbus who want better neighborhoods, real care for the homeless, urgently needed police reform, and to feel like City Hall cares for them because Columbus needs to be America’s Opportunity City for everyone.
Again, thank you all. Your enthusiastic support and encouragement allowed me to keep fighting for every signature but, while I had enough to file, there were just too many invalid signatures to make the final cut.
